This title constitutes a comprehensive re-envisioning of the seminal 2000 JRPG, initially released as Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. In a notable step away from recent Dragon Quest remakes, like the previously launched HD-2D iterations, this remake adopts a unique 3D aesthetic. Environments appear to evoke intricate model sets, with characters featuring a delightful toy-like design.
