In a dominant performance, the English national team wrapped up one more win against Albania, featuring a number of squad members delivering standout performances on the pitch.

Starting Lineup

The midfielder Set-pieces from corners and set-plays were dangerous. Had freedom to move on the left only to be in an offside position upon receiving in front of goal. Granted a deserved break around the 60-minute point. 6/10

The star midfielder Operated in a high spot on the right while also put in defensive duties. Displayed moments of class but mishit a shot high. Replaced in the closing stages by a teammate, a fellow player, following a yellow card. 7

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with England’s top opening before halftime, his effort excellently kept out from Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate hanging back, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side yet his deliveries into the box were hit and miss. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

The captain The match-winner scoring 77th and 78th finishes at international level. The opener a trademark close-range tap-in while the second an excellent finish with his head following a clever run away from the opposition.
