Another Capitulation Leads to Old Firm Loss

Nancy highlights the fact his team can perform strongly for a half at a time. For instance, if not for wastefulness in front of goal they could have been greater than 1-0 up. “There were positives other than the fact that we missed a second goal,” he said. “I accept that we lost, but I must remain objective.

“The performance we had at certain moments was exceptionally high. That happened. I could not say that if it was different. That is the reason, when it comes to wins, I mentioned this is the same story. That’s why I believe a change is coming to things turning around. Currently: details, details, details.”

“We produced plenty of positives that we did, once more. The issue now it’s about performing for 90 minutes. My narrative would be different if I didn't believe it. That’s why I firmly believe we will manage to get back on track.”

Opposition Reaction Outlook

Danny Röhl refused to contemplate a championship push despite what felt like a huge result. “We take it game by game, then we can really build up a challenge,” he said. “The confidence in the team is outstanding.”
